Hiking Trail To Natural Mountain Creek at Whitewater, Whitewater, California.

Decent hike from Windy Cove neighborhood up to a year round spring at about 1,900’. There’s an abandoned hobo camp at the top. Shame to see the camp because it’s very trashy and detracts from the canyon. Canyon shaded and cool. Water pools had frogs and ferns. Heard owls at night and saw field mice.

1st time up here. Started from the Water Tanks. Walking thru and on brush, it was easier hopping across the small boulders. At a point I was thinking almost impossible to get to what I call the "Green Patch". I then stumbled across the trail that takes you all the way up. The trail is lined with Rock Stax that someone? put to help guide you up.

Trail is approximately 2.50 miles (starting from the street @ Snow View Dr.) with moderate climbing.
